El Heharim Retreat
is a project of Jewish Education Program of Long Island and takes place at their beautiful campus, Camp Nageela in the Catskills region of New York.
El Heharim is designed for Israeli/American families to spend enjoyable and quality time together in an atmosphere they are comfortable in.
Camp Nageela has 50 hotel style private rooms including adjoining rooms, an indoor pool, beautiful dining room, relaxing lobbies, game room, and much more, all in one heated building. Each family will lodge in one or two rooms with tempurpedic mattresses; comfortable linen and towels provided. The food is kosher, delicious and plentiful. The staff is gracious and attentive.
Families will have the opportunity to choose among many activities organized by the spirited camp staff including Archery, Paintball, Bubble soccer, Indoor swimming, Petting farm, Sports fields and Courts, Game room, Baking, Arts and crafts, Challah making, Zumba and more.

Safety Protocol-Families are requested to keep social distancing and masks while in indoor public places. Each family will have their own table in dining room.
Cost is only $125 per person for first two people in a room and $75 per person for additional people in the same room. Children under 5 are free.

Camp Nageela, a division of JEP of Long Island, located at the Dovid and Suri Schwartz Jewish Experience Center in Fallsburg, is a sleep away camp that has introduced over 3000 Jewish children to Judaism for the last 30 yrs, Activities are conducted year round.
